What to expect

Our first stop

Driving through the counrtyside and before we start making our way up to Mt Parnassus where Delphi lies, we will make our first stop. A thousand years old Byzantine monastery, listed in the Unesco World Heritage programm, for it’s unique architecture and exquisite mosaics, named after its founder Hosios Loukas.

Arriving in Delphi

The winding mountain road leading to Delphi archeological site offers is a prime opportunity to admire the jaw dropping surrounding, before making your way up to the carefully placed Apollo temple, home of the most famous oracle of the ancient world. Your driver will make sure you arrive with ease and comfort at the entrance and provide appropriate time for you to explore the site and the museum, right next.

Traditional village of Arachova

Right next to Delphi, is the traditionaly built, mountain village of Arachova. What’s now a famous winter destination, mainly because of the nearby ski resort, used to be a shelter for shepards and travellers back in the day. Today we can still enjoy the local products like cheese, pasta and honey. On top of everything, the village offers a variety of restaurant options making it a prime location for your lunch stop. Ask your driver for suggestions based on your preferences or dietary restrictions.
